EXCO GmbH is presented at the Frankenthal Economics Forum.

On October 8th 2009, around 40 representatives of Frankenthal's economic community met with Mayor Theo Wieder, respresentatives of the Town Council, and the Association for Economic Development

This annual exchange of opinions constitutes a communication platform for leaders of the economic and administrative communities of Frankenthal. First of all, Mayor Theo Wieder spoke on the development of the City of Frankenthal as a centre of industry and a shopping hub. Wolfgang Winsel, CEO of Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft Frankenthal, gave a summary of the economic developments of 2009. Then City Manager, Ms. Affeldt, spoke about events and campaigns for the reinvigoration of the city centre.

EXCO GmbH made the most of its invitation from Mayor Theo Wieder to present itself as a Frankenthal company of the future. In his speech, CEO Jürgen Spielberger emphasized the importance of the central values on which the philosophy of the company is based. In addition, Hans-Peter Unhoch, Head of the Plants & Automation division, used the example of projects to give an overview of the range of services provided by EXCO GmbH.

Finally, Jürgen Spielberger presented the current plans for the future headquarters in Frankenthal. The move to the premises at Adam-Opel-Straße 9-11, Frankenthal, is planned for the end of 2010. The 5109m² space is part of the "Nord" (North) industrial park, which already houses 21 companies. Mayor Wieder referred to the move to Frankenthal as "proof of the attractiveness of Frankenthal as an economic location and a major acquisition for the city".
